![]() ![]() Regional Lead Scribes may have continued contact and direction from the Director of Operations and other corporate employees of iScribeMD. Regional Lead Scribes will directly report their Area Operations Manager. They will also work alongside Scribe Trainers, Educators and Bedside Trainers. Regional Lead Scribes will work directly under the guidance of the Area Operations Manager. High school graduate or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred.Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Must be able to speak and interpret English fluently to perform documentation effectively.Ability to work with highly confidential patient information. ![]() Committed individual who can prioritize their workload and manage conflicting demands in order to work efficiently.Strong interpersonal skills and computer literacy.Strong communication skills are required must be able to effectively communicate thoughts and actions through various forms of communication including verbal, written and oral.Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all levels of the organization.Ability to lead and supervise others with integrity and discretion.Previous experience in a leadership position preferred.Carry out other essential functions as a medical scribe, including documentation and transcription.Assist in new site trials within the region.Assist Lead Scribes with disciplinary actions and incidents as needed.Review payroll submitted by EDLS and CLS.Remind scheduler of upcoming duties and set personal schedule.Meet monthly with ED physician liaisons in conjunction with the Ops Manager and convey feedback to physicians from scribes and vice versa.Meet periodically with clinic staff/physicians as needed.Attend monthly ED and clinic scribe meetings whenever possible and provide support with presentation topics for re-education purposes.Encourage meeting attendance and enforce meeting attendance guidelines.Provide updates and feedback to the Corporate Team on a regular basis.Act as a liaison between the Lead Scribes and Area Operations Manager.Notify leads of upcoming chart audits and perform audits when needed.Remain current on documentation standards and scribing abilities.Oversee the leadership team of the designated area.Oversee content and delivery development of all online, classroom and bedside training.Collaborate with EDLS, CLS, Lead E-learning Coordinators, and Educators to develop education topics and modules.Facilitate new Lead Scribe Training for the region in coordination with corporate requirements.Assist in the marketing and promotion of iScribeMD as requested by AOM.Identify events to attend where recruitment can be performed, in conjunction with HR and other leadership staff.Review, track, and assist the Lead Scribes in hiring decisions.Evaluate candidates for ED and clinics in collaboration with the Recruiter at least 1x weekly and assist leads with interviews as needed.Regional Lead Scribes are unlicensed and do not participate in patient care. They ensure that their sites remain fully staffed and that clients are happy with the overall scribe quality. Regional Lead Scribes provide direction to their teams regarding recruitment, hiring, training, and quality assurance. ![]() The role of the Regional Lead Scribe is to serve as a leader and mentor to the Lead Scribes for their designated area. ![]()
